The Beaconsfield township is located 46 km south east of the Melbourne CBD on the Old Princes Hwy as shown below.

The population from the 2016 Census was 6,714 people with a median age of 39 years.

There has been significant growth in the area since the last census,  so the current population is certainly much greater now.

BPA is a voluntary organisation representing the interests of residents and businesses of Beaconsfield, liaising with Cardinia Shire Council, Commonwealth and State Governments and Non-Government bodies in regard to planning & community issues, events and amenities for Beaconsfield.
