Albert returned to Australia on the 14th September 1919 and was discharged on the 29th September 1919.

Miss Mary Maybury of Officer, Victoria was the Next of Kin given whenAlbert enlisted.

On the 5th May 1919, he married Kathleen Rose Abram at Parish Church, Earl’s Barton, Northampton, England. They returned to Victoria and lived at Reservoir. Albert worked as a metal polisher. They had four children Betty Phyllis, Robert Stanley, James and Junette.

On the 18th February 1922, Albert received the British War Medal and, later, on the 25th November 1922 he received the Victory Medal.

On the 16 November 1956, Albert was living at 20 Gilbank Street, Reservoir, Victoria.

Albert died on the 5th September 1964 and was cremated on the 8th September at the Fawkner Cemetery, Victoria.

BPA is a voluntary organisation representing the interests of residents and businesses of Beaconsfield, liaising with Cardinia Shire Council, Commonwealth and State Governments and Non-Government bodies in regard to planning & community issues, events and amenities for Beaconsfield.
