William Wallace Cameron returned to Australia on the 2ndJanuary 1919. Discharged on the 27thMarch 1919.

William joined the police force in 1923. He was stationed at various Police stations across Victoria including Port Melbourne, Footscray North, Nathalia and Shepparton.

In 1936 William married Elizabeth May Menzies.

Died on the 5thMarch 1984.

Buried on the 8th March 1984 at Pine Lodge Cemetery, Shepparton, Victoria.
