The Digital Memorial has been installed by the Beaconsfield Progress Association to remember and honour the women and men from Beaconsfield who served in the armed forces during World War One.
Our memorial consolidates much of the information known about Beaconsfield’s soldiers and their service in a digital form to preserve it for future generations. It forms part of the heritage of Beaconsfield and is a Digital Memorial.
To allow easier access to the information about our soldiers, the Digital Memorial has been added to the Beaconsfield Progress Association’s website. This activity has been undertaken in lieu of some of the effort normally devoted to our annual Anzac Day ceremony. Our 2020 ceremony was cancelled due to the COVID 19 virus restrictions.
