Beaconsfield Banner Winter 2024 – Berwick bowling club

The Berwick Bowling Club, in conjunction with the City of Casey Council and Bowls Victoria have been running the “BOWLING WITH BABIES” program through the months of April and May.

This is a new concept for the City of Casey where mums and dads have an opportunity to meet with like-minded parents to join Bowling with Babies which brings new and expecting parents together to enjoy a coffee, a chat, and a social roll. Supported by VicHealth, Bowling with Babies aims to assist less active parents to become more active and enable them time to focus on their physical well-being in a fun, relaxing and comfortable environment – with their baby.

If you’re expecting, attending a Bowling with Babies session also enables you to connect with other parents in your local area, and help to build a supportive peer network before your baby arrives. Family and friends are always welcome and encouraged to join in the fun with you! Keep an eye on the Berwick Bowling Club Facebook page to find out when the next program starts.

Our club is continually hosting different groups for Barefoot Bowls, Birthdays, Corporate groups and more. The clubhouse is 600m2 and able to host large and small groups and accommodate most requests and can cater for those who require it. Throughout the winter months, with the canopy roof over green 3, we can provide bowls 12 months of the year.

New members are always welcome to the club, and we host new bowler coaching sessions from 10am every Friday morning and most Sunday mornings for those not able to attend on Friday mornings. From learning the basics to more advanced coaching, we have something for everyone.

So, looking for something new to get out and about in the local community? Try the Berwick Bowling Club, located within the Edwin Flack Reserve sporting complex.
