Beaconsfield Banner Winter 2022 – Beaconsfield Officer Scouts

Beaconsfield Officer Scouts are back out and about! After 2 years of disruptions to scouts due to Covid we are now meeting weekly and getting up to all sorts of exciting things. We have been cycling, ice-blocking, canoeing, hiking and most importantly camping again. In the summer some of our scouts attended the Victorian Jamboree in Elmore. They had a fantastic 10 days doing lots of adventurous activities, learning new skills and making lots of new friends.

Over Easter the group attended a district camp at Caringal Scout Camp and visited Walhalla and had some other exciting activities. They also participated in the Beaconsfield Anzac Memorial Service and the Officer Dawn Service.

Scout ages range from 5 years to 25 years, so come along and join the fun. There is also an opportunity for adult volunteers or students needing practical experience to come and help out.
