We had a visit from the Beaconsfield CFA Captain Phil Walton who talked about safety issues in the home. We all learnt some new information to put into practice. Thanks to Beaconsfield CFA for caring for our town. Cr Brett Owen and Cr Tammy Radford also visited Make and Mingle to tell us about various council facilities and information. Thank you to them both for visiting.
Each week we have craft and a cuppa and lots of time to chat. There are also lots of craft ideas shared with greeting card making, quilting, patchwork, embroidery and knitting. Everyone is welcome.
We are sorry to say that MAKE AND MINGLE CRAFT FAIR has been CANCELLED for this year, due to illness and other unforeseen circumstances. Sorry to disappoint you, but this is unavoidable. We hope to hold the Craft Fair next year on Saturday 8th November 2025.
Your used postage stamps can help raise money for missions. If you save the stamps, please leave them on the envelopes or with a big margin around them and drop off to Beaconsfield Baptist Church. The stamps are then trimmed and sorted and go to stamp dealers and the money raised helps support missions both in Australia and overseas.
Make and Mingle meets every Wednesday 10am-12 noon during School term at Beaconsfield Baptist Church, 7 Desmond Court. We finish term 3 on 18th September and 4th term starts 16th October and finishes 4th December.
