Beaconsfield Banner Spring 2021 State Member Brad Battin MP

Fire Season Ready

As a community, I believe we are continuing to work together and look after one another during these challenging times. I am hoping that our community has remained as resilient and community focused as it has been through previous COVID-19 government lockdowns and restrictions.

We all share the same sense of hope and doing what is right for each other in our community and there are many stories that people have shared with me about the adversity that some people in our community are facing. I encourage you to stay true to this sense of hope and community and continue to look after each other, to check in on your neighbours and community business owners.

I would also like to use this time to remind you that we will be entering the summer season soon and this is an opportune time to prepare for the fire season ahead. The time spent at home and amongst the community areas, can be used to check your property and your surrounds and ensure you are ready for the season ahead.

You can reach out to your local CFA station for further information and guidance if you need assistance in what you can do to be ready for the fire season and for further updates on how to be prepared. We each have a role in ensuring our community is safe and prepared for the fire season.
