Beaconsfield Banner Autumn 2025 – Member for Berwick

As autumn settles in, bringing cooler weather and vibrant colours, it’s the perfect time to enjoy the outdoors with family and friends, whether celebrating Easter or the long Labour Day weekend. Autumn is a reminder to relax, reflect, reminder to relax, reflect, and support local businesses, many of which are still facing challenges. Shopping locally helps strengthen our community, keeps small businesses afloat, and makes a difference—whether it is through seasonal items or enjoying a local café. Let’s enjoy this season and support our local businesses that enrich our community.

While we enjoy the changing seasons, it’s also important to stay mindful and vigilant in our communities to help keep our neighbourhoods safe and secure. Over the past few months, my office has seen a rise in concerns about increasing crime rates, particularly car theft, which is affecting families beyond the electorate. With one car stolen every 20 minutes in Victoria, the frequency of these crimes is deeply concerning. Far too many local families have been impacted, losing their vehicles and, in many cases, their sense of safety and security.

We will continue to work together to combat vehicle thefts and prioritise community safety. I am actively collaborating with local police to address the issue and your feedback is invaluable. I will continue to advocate for stronger measures and support for our state law enforcement.

Should you have any questions or wish to share your feedback, please do not hesitate to visit my office, or contact at 5953 0216 or via email at berwick@parliament.vic.gov.au. You can also stay connected through my website at https://bradbattin.com.au.
