Beaconsfield Banner Autumn 2024 – Art Show – Pakenham Moves to the Pink Hill Hotel

Now over two weekends, Art Show – Pakenham Comes to Town!

This long running Cardinia event beginning in 1976, will be held at the amazing Pink Hill Hotel Function space in 2024.

“This brand-new facility is an exciting venue to hold this year’s exhibition and sale of traditional and fine art”, event coordinator Jillian Ronald said. “If you haven’t been to the Pink Hill Hotel this is the perfect opportunity to come and have a look. The Art Show will be open for 10 days and there will be something for everyone. We are very excited to see the Art Show step it up a notch.”

Now over two weekends the art show is embracing the theme ‘Juxtaposition’ as the special category. But the exhibition will also have traditional, modern, sculpture, digital, youth and wearable art on display.

Artists who would like to enter can do so through our website at www.artshowpakenham.com.au. Entries close on 30 April 2024. Prizes total $7,350.

The Opening Night will be held on Friday 17th May 2024. This is when you get the first look at all the art and enjoy some nibbles. The Wearable Art Parade models will strut their way down the foyer space and all the winners will be announced. The gift shop is open and is a great place to purchase a unique gift. All products are priced under $50.

Tickets to Opening Night are $20 and can be purchased at https://www.trybooking.com/CPAKM

Limited door sales are available.

General viewing entry is by donation from 18 – 26 May 2024

The art show is open from 10am until 5pm every day and late-night viewings on 18, 23, 24 and 25 May until 8pm. Purchase a glass of bubbly or stop for a meal and spend a pleasant time soaking up the culture.
