One hundred knitted poppies were installed in the gardens of Beaconsfield Baptist Church to remember the one hundredth anniversary of the end of World War One.
Both the Australian and New Zealand flags were flown at the Cenotaph at Woods Street and wreaths and knitted poppies were laid. Around 30 people met and paused for one minute’s silence to remember the servicemen and women who served in all conflicts.
