Beaconsfield Banner Autumn 2024 – Carl’s Jr. opens in Beaconsfield

Carl’s Jr., famous for its ‘Made Fresh to Order’ Chargrilled Burgers, Hand-Scooped Ice Cream Shakes, Hand-Breaded Chicken, Waffle Fries and Bottomless Drinks, officially opened its doors at 215 Princes Highway, Beaconsfield (next to the new BP petrol station), on Wednesday, 17th January 2024.

To celebrate the occasion, the iconic burger chain offered FREE burgers for a year, to the first 50 customers on the day. Eager customers and Carl’s Jr. fans camped out overnight at the restaurant in Beaconsfield some of which had been lining up since 2pm the day before opening.

Mayor Cr Jack Kowarzik attended the grand opening Wednesday morning to celebrate with the Carl’s Jr. team, staff, customers and for the official ribbon cutting ceremony to launch the opening of the new restaurant with the Zamm Enterprises team. “The Cardinia shire is very supportive of the development and opening of Carl’s Jr. Beaconsfield as it brings employment for young people and shows confidence in the area.”

Mark Van Delft, franchisee of Zamm Enterprises, who owns and operates the Beaconsfield restaurant says, “We are excited to be providing local job opportunities in Beaconsfield for 110 new team members. For many of our team, this will be their first job.”

Mark, his wife Mickey, and daughter Lexi have been in the QSR space for 30+ years combined, and were very excited to open their first Carl’s Jr. restaurant in January. Locals to South Gippsland, the Van Delft’s own, operate and manage Carl’s Jr. Beaconsfield, and you are likely to see them in the restaurant daily, serving and greeting customers.

“As a family, we love watching staff grow and giving them the opportunity to develop. We are doing something we love and are passionate about. We love talking to customers and making them feel welcome and their visit feel special. We are not just your average fast food visit, we serve our guests at their table with a smile and offering bottomless refills when they dine in. We thank everyone for the support and love meeting you all” Andrew Firn, Managing Director of CJ’s QSR Group Pty Ltd, Carl’s Jr.’s Master Franchisee in Australia, announced, “We are delighted to be bringing another Carl’s Jr. Restaurant to outer suburbs of Victoria. We are especially excited to provide Carl’s Jr.’s famous Burgers, Shakes, Chicken and Fries to the people of Beaconsfield, not only to continue to feed the burger masses but also to support the local community through employment and engagement programs.”

Since introducing Carl’s Jr. to Australia in 2016 in Bateau Bay, New South Wales, the brand has grown to 44 restaurants throughout Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, and New South Wales. You can visit Carl’s Jr. Beaconsfield at 215 Princes Highway, Beaconsfield, VIC.
