Beaconsfield Banner Winter 2022 – Draft Cardinia Creek Regional Parklands Future Directions Plan

The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) is pleased to advise that the Draft Cardinia Creek Regional Parklands Future Directions Plan 2022 is now available for viewing. The draft sets out a plan to link together more than 600 hectares of parklands from Beaconsfield to Clyde along the much-loved Cardinia Creek.

You can have your say from 25 May to 23 June 2022 on the Draft Plan by completing an online survey, making a submission, or attending an engagement session. Further information can be found at https://engage.vic.gov.au/CardiniaCkParklands

Thank you to everyone who has already provided input and suggestions for the future of the parklands.

The Victorian Government’s $315 million Suburban Parks Program will create more than 6,500 hectares of new and upgraded parks and trails in Melbourne’s growing outer suburbs.

Should you require any more information, please contact the Suburban Parks Program Co-Managed Parks team at cardiniack.parklands@delwp.vic.gov.au.

BPA is a voluntary organisation representing the interests of residents and businesses of Beaconsfield, liaising with Cardinia Shire Council, Commonwealth and State Governments and Non-Government bodies in regard to planning & community issues, events and amenities for Beaconsfield.
