Albert and Queenie had six children, Ruby May, Sylvia Irene, Phyllis Dorothy, Valda Joyce, Doreen Olive and Keith Albert.
After the war Albert lived in Seymour, during the 1950’s he was the proprietor of the Transport in Café in Kilmore. In later years he moved to Doncaster and finally Bulleen.
Albert died on 23 September 1973 and is buried at the Templestowe Cemetery Victoria (Church of England, Row A, Grave 88).
