<\/h5>\nOn the 4th<\/sup>April 1918 Thomas was severely gassed and hospitalised; diagnosed with gas poisoning.<\/p>\n Returned to Australia on the 6th<\/sup>June 1918.<\/p>\n Discharged on the 16th<\/sup>August 1918.<\/p>\n In 1919 Thomas worked as a Poultry farmer in Beaconsfield.
