George returned to Australia on the 22nd<\/sup>August 1919. Discharged on the 7th<\/sup>November 1919.<\/p>\n

On the 13th<\/sup>August 1918 George was wounded in action, a gunshot wound to the left forearm.<\/p>\n

In June 1921 he requested his medals be posted to his father C\/O Mr E Wright, Officer P.O., Victoria.<\/p>\n

In 1923 George married Alice Myrtle Little.<\/p>\n

In 1924 he was employed at a Butter Factory, Dandenong. Then in 1931 George lived at 71 Edwin Street, Heidelberg, employed as a gravedigger.<\/p>\n

On the 19th<\/sup> December 1958 he made application for war benefits under the Repatriation Act.<\/p>\n
