Francis Leonard David Bonette returned to Australia on 16th<\/sup>June 1919. Discharged on 30th<\/sup>December 1919. On 7th<\/sup> July 1915 David married Elsie Maisie Fairthorne; in 1923 a divorce was granted, David gave his address as Bull & Mouth Hotel, Bourke Street, Melbourne describing himself as a Military Pensioner. In 1924 David Bonette was residing at \u201cHolm Park\u201d, Beaconsfield; he listed his occupation as student.<\/p>\n

In 1933 L David Bonette Esq, \u201cHolm Park\u201d wrote and requested names from the war office to organise a reunion. David Bonette assisted Ada Armytage with her functions which included charity balls, debutante balls, fundraisers and the boy scouts. David lived at “Holm Park” until the death of Ada Armytage; he then resided at 18 Teak Street, Caulfield, occupation Soldier as he re-enlisted for WWII. Died on the 5th<\/sup>April 1954 at Parkville, Victoria. Cremated on the 7th<\/sup>April 1954 at Fawkner Cemetery.<\/p>\n
